Editing Text and Images

Quick changes, made directly on the page.

Need to update a heading? Tweak some wording? Swap out an image? You can do all of that right in the Webflow Editor - no code, no confusion.

Here’s how.

Editing Text

  1. Log into the Webflow Editor
  2. Hover over the text you want to change
  3. You’ll see a blue box appear - click it
  4. Make your changes directly in the field
  5. Click outside the box when you’re done - it saves automatically

You can edit headings, paragraphs, buttons, and captions this way.

Replacing an Image

  1. Hover over the image you want to update
  2. Click the blue box and choose “Replace Image”
  3. Upload a new image from your computer or select one from your asset library
  4. It’ll automatically update wherever that image is used

Tip: Keep file sizes under 500KB if you can - large files slow things down.

What you can’t do here

You won’t be able to:

  • Crop or resize images
  • Reposition page sections
  • Change fonts, colours, or spacing

If you need those kinds of changes, just ask - we’ll handle it safely.
