Accounts & Ownership

Who Owns What

What you fully own after a Linford project - from domains and websites to creative assets and ad accounts.

When your project ends, ownership matters. You should know exactly what belongs to you, where it’s stored, and what you can do with it. This isn’t just a formality - it’s about control, security, and avoiding future hassle.

Here’s what you fully own once your Linford project is complete.

Your Website

You own:

  • The Webflow project
  • All CMS content (blog posts, services, case studies, etc)
  • Images, copy, and media we’ve created for the site
  • Any custom code we wrote specifically for your project
  • The live domain and hosting account (if registered in your name)

You do not own:

  • Webflow itself (you’re using it under their license)
  • Any third-party plugins or tools with separate subscriptions
  • Templates or libraries not created by us

Your Brand Assets

You own:

  • Logos, brand marks, and guidelines we’ve created
  • Colour palettes, fonts (if free or under commercial license)
  • Icons and design elements custom-built for your brand
  • Files shared with you during the project (usually via Google Drive or Dropbox)

You do not own:

  • Premium fonts or stock assets that require separate licensing (unless transferred)

Your Content

You own:

  • All original content we created for you (text, imagery, video)
  • Scripts, voiceovers, photos, and videos produced by Linford
  • Anything delivered in a final state (and paid for)

You do not own:

  • Raw production files (like unused footage or working design files), unless agreed
  • Creative drafts or internal working versions we haven’t sent you

We’re happy to share more if you need it - just ask.

Your Ad Accounts and Analytics

You own:

  • Any Google Ads, Meta Ads, or Analytics accounts we create for you
  • Your ad performance data, tracking setup, and campaign history
  • All audiences, pixels, and goal settings

We may be listed as a manager - but you’re always the owner.

The Bottom Line

If we’ve made it for you and you’ve paid for it - it’s yours.

We don’t lock things down. No fine print. No licensing traps.

You should be able to walk away with everything you’ve built - even if you never need to.
