Once your project is complete, you’ll have a mix of files, platforms, and accounts. Some things live in Webflow. Others are shared through cloud storage. The good news is it’s all organised. Here’s a breakdown of where to find everything.
Webflow
Used for: Your live website and CMS content.
You’ll find:
- Page layouts
- Text and images added through the CMS
- Basic SEO and page settings
- Blog posts, team bios, case studies, and other repeatable content
- Asset Manager with images and uploaded files
Webflow is not a long-term file storage system. It’s built to manage your site, not your archive.
Google Drive or Dropbox
Used for: Design files, brand assets, content libraries, and handover folders.
You’ll typically receive:
- Final logo files in multiple formats (SVG, PNG, JPG)
- Brand guidelines
- Photos and videos from shoots
- Social media graphics or design templates
- PDFs or marketing materials we created
We usually send you a link with either edit or download access. Let us know if you need anything resent.
Figma (if design work was done here)
Used for: Web design, UI, brand development, or prototypes.
You’ll have:
- Editable design files (with comment access if requested)
- Style guides and component libraries
- Mobile and desktop mockups
- Shared file links instead of downloads
If you want to duplicate a file to your own Figma account, we’ll show you how.
Email or Portal Links
Some one-off deliverables may have been sent via email, especially during handover. These could include:
- Video files or WeTransfer links
- Content docs or spreadsheets
- Billing summaries or timeline documents
If you’ve lost track, ask us. We keep backups of all shared files for at least 12 months after launch.
What we don’t store
You’re responsible for:
- Any files you remove from shared folders
- External platform assets (like email platform templates or CRM data)
- Backups of files if you’ve edited them after delivery
We’ll always give you access to what we’ve made. Just try not to delete the folder marked “final”.
